This is me.
I am open and honest and upfront. I have struggled with anxiety. While moving around the country as a child, one thing that has I held close was a love of creating. Whether I was trading drawings as currency to find new friends in a new city, or painting murals as a way of getting out of gym class, art has been my mode of dialogue for as long as I can remember. During college I learned how art can be used therapeutically, and I created to process my emotions. Using art to connect to my feelings became second nature, and after attaining my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts, went on to graduate school to become an Art Therapist & Counselor.
Since 2007, I have been privileged to help guide many through their life’s journey. I have helped kids as young as three and older adults over 100. During our time together I like to meet people where they are and gently guide where they want to go. I utilize a non-judgemental approach which looks at each individual as a whole person. The emphasis is on a person’s positive traits and behaviors, and the ability to use their personal instincts to find wisdom, growth, healing, and fulfillment from within.
